CO2 Rock Breaking System Mining Solution | Dolomite Open Pit Mine

CO2 Rock Breaking System Mining Solution | Dolomite Open Pit Mine

Solve Explosive Difficulties and Achieve Significant Production Growth

1. Original Mining Dilemma and Severe Production Limitation
The customer faced complicated and unapproachable explosive approval for dolomite mining. Relying on a 20-ton excavator with a hydraulic breaker, the daily output was only 150m³, far below the site’s daily demand of 5,000m³. The traditional method was slow and unable to meet production requirements.
2. Customized Solution and Scientific Construction Layout
According to on-site rock conditions, we adopted a standard layout: 2.5m hole spacing, 2.5m row spacing and 6.5m hole depth. Each CO2 fracturing tube breaks around 50m³ of rock. Four rows of holes with two working faces for alternating operation effectively double mining efficiency.
3. Remarkable On-site Results with Higher Efficiency and Lower Cost
Field test proved that only 15 CO2 fracturing tubes achieved a single-operation output of 700m³, delivering a 367% productivity increase. CO2 fracturing replaces traditional explosives, eliminating tedious approval procedures and safety risks, and greatly cutting overall mining costs.

4. Ideal for Open-pit Mines with Flexible Production Capacity
The device generates powerful rock-breaking force via 600-fold CO2 volume expansion and 300MPa high pressure, ensuring stable cracking effect. It perfectly solves construction delays due to explosive approval issues. The adjustable layout supports flexible output, catering to open-pit mine demands of 5,000–10,000m³ per day.
