DL130 Hydraulic Splitter Case: Solve Shale Excavation No-Blasting & Low Efficiency Problems

 1. Site Problems & Pain Points
A Fujian construction team faced tough foundation excavation challenges with large-area carbonaceous shale. Blasting was strictly prohibited due to nearby residential areas. The team used traditional breaker hammers, but the layered soft rock caused frequent hammer jumping, only producing fine slag. This led to extremely low working efficiency and soaring costs of hammer accessories and daily maintenance, seriously delaying the project progress.

2. Customized Professional Solution
After fully confirming the site rock condition, construction environment, engineering volume and schedule requirements, our engineers launched a targeted solution. We configured  4 sets of DL130 hydraulic splitters** and matched exclusive drilling parameters: 130mm hole diameter, 1.5m hole depth, 1.5m hole spacing and 2m row spacing, perfectly fitting the natural layered structure of carbonaceous shale.

 3. Practical Construction Effect & Advantages
The splitter pushes horizontally along rock bedding gaps to form large complete cracks. Rocks can be easily stripped by excavators, raising overall efficiency by 50% and cutting comprehensive costs by 35%. As a safe static breaking device, it has no vibration, no flying rocks and low noise. It meets environmental protection standards with simple procedures, completely solving the no-blasting construction dilemma in urban areas。
