1. On-site Mining Pain Points
A client from Chaoyang, Liaoning, engaged in quartz tunnel mining, encountered high-hardness quartz rock (Mohs hardness 6-7) during operation. Restricted by relevant policies, explosive blasting was not approved. Meanwhile, the narrow tunnel space made large mining equipment inaccessible. The extremely low efficiency of traditional manual mining seriously delayed the mining progress, urging the client to seek a reliable construction solution.
2. Customized Construction Solution
Based on the on-site working conditions and quartz rock hardness characteristics, we customized a complete equipment set for the client, including 1 electric pump station and 5 DL350 hydraulic rock splitters. Construction was carried out with a standard hole spacing of 30-40cm. Featuring a compact size, the equipment fits narrow tunnel mining spaces perfectly, effectively avoiding site and policy construction restrictions.
3. Practical Results & Customer Feedback
Making use of the physical property of rocks — high compressive strength but low tensile strength — the equipment cracks rocks efficiently via hydraulic power with safe and simple operation. Compared with traditional air pick manual work, the client’s daily mining efficiency increased 3-5 times, and the overall construction period was shortened by over 50%, greatly cutting labor and time costs. The client highly praised: “The equipment has strong adaptability and low failure rate. It completely solves the core difficulties of tunnel mining and serves as an efficient tool for mining construction.”
