Fujian Granite Static Quarrying Case | Integrated Drill & Splitter Solves Compliance Issues Near Residential Areas
1. Project Challenge: Restrictions on Traditional Mining Methods
The quarry is adjacent to residential zones. Standard hydraulic breakers generate 105–110 dB(A) of noise during operation, leading to frequent complaints. Explosive blasting creates shockwaves with safety risks. Local authorities mandate static mining for granite. The client targeted daily output of 1,000–2,000 tons, yet original methods failed to balance compliance and production.
2. Solution Communication: Custom Plan Based On Site Conditions
After receiving the inquiry, we confirmed the rock is granite and offered two options: piston splitter and integrated drill & splitter.
Labour cost in Fujian is high, and the client owned no separate drilling rig. The integrated machine can be retrofitted on excavators without damaging original performance, combining drilling and splitting. One worker can operate remotely. It enables multi-purpose use of excavators and cuts extra equipment and labour investment.
3. On-site Result: Target Output Achieved With Lower Costs
This integrated machine features fast drilling speed and 8,000 tons splitting force. Flexible movement allows operation on complex working faces from all angles.
Field test: around 1,500 tons within 8 working hours; up to 2,000 tons for 10 hours. Static splitting greatly cuts noise without vibration, fully meeting official requirements. Labour demand is reduced, bringing down overall mining costs.
